San Antonio Oktoberfest 2024
The celebrations starts on the 16th of September and ends on the 29th of October.
The color, music, spectacle, festivities, the stein hoisting and of course THE BEER from the world’s largest festival, can be sampled here, right in San Antonio, on the beautiful banks of The River Walk.
Munich, in Bavaria boasts the world’s largest annual festival with over 6 million visitors every year. The festival has great historic significance starting in 1810, when Crown Prince Ludwig married his bride, Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen. Since then, the event has developed into an annual & international tradition, attracting visitors from every corner of the globe.
The Bier Garten Riverwalk launched its first Oktoberfest in 2014, to much acclaim and standing room only. The grand festival of German entertainment (including sing –a-longs, stein holding, alp horn blowing contests & live German music), a ceremonial keg tapping carried out by a local celebrity (previously we had Ursula Pari from KSAT 12 & Pat DiGiovanni, CEO of Centro San Antonio) and of course Oktoberfest dancing, singing, partying and good old Bavarian style FUN!

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY
Finally found my go to for German food and beer. We found this place tucked away on the riverwalk and loved it. The food is really good and love the beer.

I love the semi-secluded location. We found many appealing German foods on the menu, how to choose. The Food was great, as was the service.

First time in a long while that I've been able to find the authentic taste of Bavaria in food. Brought back memories of street market stalls with their wonderful food.
